Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

On February 24, 2016, Alliance Data Systems Corporation issued a press release announcing that its Canadian coalition loyalty business, LoyaltyOne, expanded its relationship with Sobeys, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Empire Company Limited, and will issue AIR MILES® reward miles at 157 Needs Convenience and Sobeys express convenience store locations in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.  A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

PROGRAM EXPANSION WITH SOBEYS

AIR MILES Reward Program to Launch at Needs and Sobeys express Stores in all Atlantic-Canadian Provinces

PLANO, TX (February 24, 2016) - Alliance Data Systems Corporation (NYSE: ADS), a leading global provider of data-driven marketing and loyalty solutions, announced that its LoyaltyOne business, operator of its Canadian coalition loyalty business, and Sobeys, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Empire Company Limited (TSX: EMP.A), will issue AIR MILES reward miles at 157 Needs Convenience and Sobeys express convenience store locations in New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

In 2015, Sobeys became the AIR MILES Reward Program's first national grocer to issue reward miles across Canada. Including Needs Convenience and Sobeys express, there are more than 1,200 Sobeys-owned banner retail locations issuing reward miles across Canada.

The AIR MILES Reward Program is Canada's premier coalition loyalty program, with nearly 11 million active Collector Accounts representing approximately two-thirds of all Canadian households. AIR MILES Collectors get reward miles at hundreds of leading brand-name Sponsors representing thousands of retail and service locations across Canada. AIR MILES reward miles can be redeemed for more than 1,200 different rewards, such as travel, movie passes, entertainment attractions, and electronic merchandise. The AIR MILES Cash program option enables Collectors who opt-in the flexibility to instantly redeem their AIR MILES reward miles from their AIR MILES Cash balance in-store toward their purchases at participating Sponsors.
