This Policy does not cover the privacy practices of the social media sites on which we may have social media pages. The Site is a United States-based website that is subject to United States law. This Site is controlled, operated and administered by Alliance Data from its offices within the United States. This Policy is provided in accordance with and subject to applicable U.S. law. Additionally, if you apply for a job through the Site, we, or a human resources company assisting us, may ask you to provide self-identifying information (e.g., veteran status, gender, and ethnicity) in conjunction with laws and regulations enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (“OFCCP”), and similar state and local regulatory agencies. If Alliance Data considers your job application or extends an offer of employment, we may collect, with your consent, certain additional data either directly from you or from third parties, including background checks, where allowed by local law. Alliance Data relies on your consent when collecting this data.

We may use the information mentioned above to evaluate your application, communicate with you (for instance, to send you a welcome email), verify your information for employee recruitment purposes, analyze staffing needs and practices, respond to your requests for information, or otherwise efficiently manage our hiring process and employee administration. To that end, we may combine your applicant data with research tools and data from other sources.

The California Consumer Protection Act (“CCPA”) defines “Personal Information” as “information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household.” CCPA defines a “sale” to include simply making data available to third parties in some cases. We allow certain advertising and analytics providers to collect IP addresses, cookie IDs and mobile IDs through our Site as described in Section 2 “Device Information We Collect” when you use our online services, but we do not “sell” any other types of Personal Information.

This Site is intended for those seeking additional information about Alliance Data and its affiliates. This Policy does not extend to Personal Information that may be collected by our affiliates as defined by CCPA.
