Allegra Driscoll joined Bread Financial as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer in January 2024. With more than 20 years of technology experience in the financial service industry, her innovative and visionary leadership ensures that the organization effectively leverages technology to achieve and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, while also driving business objectives and value for stakeholders.

Prior to joining Bread Financial, Allegra served as SVP, Chief Information Officer of the Global Commercial Services Unit at American Express, where she held multiple CIO roles and led strategy and transformation initiatives across the company. She began her career as a developer at Goldman Sachs before quickly moving into various leadership positions focused on designing and optimizing sales technology. After nine years at Goldman, Allegra moved to Credit Suisse, where she spent an additional nine years in senior leadership roles across both product and engineering functions executing technology strategies for multiple business lines before joining American Express in 2020. As a leader, Allegra prioritizes professional development with a focus on building collaborative teams and cultivating a high-performing, inclusive culture.

Allegra holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Barnard College, Columbia University. She serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the CTO Forum, a not-for-profit organization composed of senior technology executives, business leaders and academicians, focused on key technology issues and accelerating innovation across organizations. Allegra sits on the Boscobel House of Gardens’ Board of Directors. An avid reader, traveler and supporter of the arts, Allegra is also a passionate champion of women, moms and engineers, investing quality time in mentorship and leadership development. She and her husband reside in New York City with their three children.
